About us

Piranha Motor Racing Ltd was established in 2008 by Chris Bialan and Graham Fennymore to run thier Juno VdeV UK Championship campaign. When the season ended with the championship title, both parties had different commitments for the year ahead leaving the teams equipment redundant.
In the middle of 2009 Simon Mason joined Chris Bialan to run the team. The team name was changed to Piranha Motorsport and the team was re-located to Bristol where Simon lived.
In 2010 Simons partner Kate (an NHS Doctor) was offered her dream posting in Manchester so the descision was made to relocate. The team is now well and truelly based just outside Manchester in a rural, secure workshop in Glazebury.
The future of the team is very much geared towards the Ginetta brand. Currently we run competitive cars in the Ginetta G40 Challenge and intend to run upto 3 cars in 2012 as part of the drivers acedemy that has proven so successful with Ryan Ratcliffe. Longer term we will return to a fully fledged GT series.
Most of our team members and customers have been with Simon Mason for many years and we come from a strong endurance racing background. As such we plan to enter Ginettas in a series of long distance races over the comming years.
