Snetterton saw the first outing for Fun Cup car 251 with Piranha Motorsport. Drivers Rod Arnold, Nick Beaumont and Chris Bialan drove the car for the first time at Snetterton on the Sunday test session. Chris was the only driver to have driven a Fun Cup TDI before albe it at Anglesey. As a result all drivers were understandably cautious whilst they tried to adapt to the basic nature of Fun Cup, racing a Diesel that only revs to 4200rpm and making a car with a synchomesh gearbox weekness last the distance.

They all  did a superb job as the car ended the race every bit as good as it started which bodes well for these guys when they race in Fun Cup again, knowing they can stretch the car more if they want next time. 

We finished 7th overall which was a very pleasant result on our first ever Fun Cup race weekend.

We plan to race at the Spa 25hrs on the 9th to 11th July next. Drivers currently commited are Chris Bialan, Pete Davies and Simon Mason with 2 other experienced racers in discussions for other spaces.
