Ryan Ratliffe qualified 2nd on the grid next to Mark Davies for the last round of the 2011 Ginetta G40 Challenge on the Silverstone GP circuit. Race 1 was ruined when Ryan was taken out by a desperate lunge from new commer and ex-Club Formula Renault driver Keiran Clarke. Ryan who had been running an a controlled 3rd place recovered to finish just outside the top 6.

Race 2 was a tough battle with very experienced racers Mark Davies and Clive Richards keeping Ryan honest. Ryan held his own and crossed the line at the finish in 3rd place in the 34 car field. This confirmed Ryan as 4th overall in the Championship and concludes our season in a solid position for 2012. We must not forget that Ryan is only in his 3rd season of driving and motorsport which confirms his potential for the 2012 season.
